Oreste e Saverio
Eterna Vigneti was born from the passion of two young oenologists, Oreste and Saverio, and from their dream of creating a wine on Etna capable of embracing and inheriting the responsibility passed down by their ancestors.
Oreste Gibilaro
Saverio Riccobono
Born in Catania on 12-10-1995, Oreste began his journey in the world of wine at the age of 10 by participating in family harvests.
Thanks to the love and passion passed down from his grandparents, he decided to deepen his knowledge by attending the Filippo Eredia Agricultural Institute in Catania and later the Edmund Mach Foundation in San Michele all’Adige (TN), graduating in Viticulture and Enology in 2018.
During his studies, he worked in well-established companies in the international wine market located in Tuscany, Trentino, and Sicily, refining his viticultural and enological knowledge. Driven by curiosity, he decided to travel to new enological landscapes outside of Italy, particularly Germany and New Zealand.
These experiences significantly contributed to the realization of the dream shared with Saverio, which was to found ETERNA VIGNETI.
Born in 1995, Saverio attended the Filippo Eredia Agricultural Institute (CT) and, driven by the desire to expand his knowledge in the world of wine, in 2018 he graduated in Viticulture and Enology from the University of Trento – Edmund Mach Foundation of San Michele all’Adige with excellent results.
The study of wine and the desire to understand its complex structure and multiple facets have been a constant throughout all phases of his life.
Saverio boasts numerous work experiences in the most important cities of Italian enological tradition: from Northern Italy (Trento, Udine, Treviso..) to the Center (Orvieto, Siena).
He conducted numerous internships during his high school years in the Sicilian region at Cantine Valenti in Passopisciaro and Cantine Castellucci Miano in Palermo, up to Central Italy at Cantine Barberani in Terni and Cantine Poliziano in Siena.
During his university studies, he worked in century-old and highly qualified companies in the international wine market: Cantine Ferrari – F.lli Lunelli and Distilleria Bertagnolli.
In 2019, he began his experience as an Enologist in the city of Treviso at Prosecco Serre, which concluded the following year to move to Udine where he worked for two years at the Friulian company Ronchi di Manzano.
The important knowledge and skills acquired in the viticultural and enological field contributed to the decision to embark on a new path and realize the dream always shared with Oreste: thus ETERNA VIGNETI was born.
